Book 2 is finally done. Comparatively speaking book 2 didn’t take anywhere near as long to write as book one. And based on my timeline it won’t take anywhere near as long to edit either. That’s probably a good thing.
I feel like I have a weight lifted off my shoulders. That was promptly replaced by another weight because now I have to do final edits on book 1 and have that done by the end of summer. It took me longer than expected to finish book 2 because procrastination so I’m a touch behind there but nothing major. I’m still planning on entering my novel in the BookLife contest put on through PW. See how that turns out. And then the wedding. And then marketing for book 1.
Truly I have homework for the rest of my life. But it’s what I love to do, therefore I shall do it. At the rate I’m going I’ll be getting to the first round of edits on book 2 toward the end of the year. Yay. Edits. Hair-pulling. Glorious.
